| Auger Industries was founded
by Richard Auger in an 800 Square Foot shop in Santa Ana, California
on June 1,1968. He started machining aerospace parts such as
Rod Ends, spherical Races, Balls and split races. The company
grew into a five man shop over the years. In 1975 Richard realized
that the future of machining lay in numerical control. He purchased
his first N C lathe that year and learned to program it by hand.
In the next few years he added more NC equipment and his first
CNC mill. The company moved to a 7500 Sq, Ft. facility in Anaheim
California on March 1 st of 1980. There it continued to grow
as more machines where added. The Company branched out into
landing gear parts and assemblies. More customers were added
as Auger became well established in the Aerospace industry.
Some commercial parts were made such as valve bodies and cutting
tools. Then in 1999 Richard realized his dream when the company
management was assumed by his three sons. The company moved
to Placentia California on July 1,1999 into a 13000 Sq Ft facility
where it resides now with 15 CNC machines. Our Quality control
system is second to none and is certified to ISO9001:2000 AND
AS9100. We promise quality parts delivered on time at a competitive
price . |
